Louis Oosthuizen Wins in Malyasia

Louis bounced back from his Masters playoff defeat by winning the Maybank Malaysian Open.

The South African whom lost in a playoff last week to Bubba Watson finished with a final score of 68 to win at the Kuala Lumpar Golf course  ahead of Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher who finished 3 shots back on -14.

Last year’s Masters champion Charl Schwartzel finished sixth just six shots back, while defending champion Matteo Manassero and former world number one Martin Kaymer shared seventh.

The win in Malaysia lifted Oosthuizen to second place in the European Tour Race to Dubai, behind US Open champion Rory McIlroy. After the RBC Heritage finishes today Rory Mcilroy will be the newly crowned world number 1.
