Lough Erne, designed by Nick Faldo, the Lough Erne Championship course extends to over 7,00 yards from the back tees and it lies at the heart of an upmarket development in a part of the country more well known for it’s watersports and fishing. With this course many people for see in the near future a professional tournament venue as it has all the perfect attributes expected for a top European Tour event.
When we played the course in mid April coming into the golfing season, it was a perfect day and the course was in exceptional condition and the greens were immaculate. For all handicaps this course is by sure not easy, so be wary to bring plenty of golf balls.
